Fiberglass is a plastic material composed of glass fibres embedded in a resin matrix. Fibres are soaked with resin, which makes them transparent. They give strength and rigidity to surfboards.
Our fiberglass cloths are available in 2 thicknesses: 4Oz and 6Oz, and 2 widths, 27'' and 30’' depending on the type of surfboard that you want to build. The best brands in the surf industry are available here: Hexcel (number 1 in Europe), Aerialite (number 1 in the US) and Shapers, the best Australian brand.
Fiberglass is a material composed of small threads that is usually used for the manufacture of industrial or recreational products such as surfboards . Thanks to the resin it can be given shape, strength and rigidity.
The price of the fiberglass cloth will vary based on the thickness, format and quantity that we buy. At Mundo Surf we offer you rolls of more than 100 meters of different widths from approximately €350, or linear meters for around €4. It all depends on what you need! In summary, we can say that the metro can be around €4.5 – €6.
