NRG Bodyboards are very light. NRG is composed of low-density polypropylene foam (PP). It´s not as rigid as PP but more than PE. It´s perfect for cool waters but these boards are also suitable for cold and warm waters.
It is a material "derived" from PP, that is, it is the same material but with a lower density of 1.4pcf. They are very light, but with a greater hardness and flexibility than PE bodyboards . It is perfect for temperate waters, or for riders who are looking for a board that works well and all types of water, cold, temperate and warm.
An NRG bodyboard is used for riders looking for a quality bodyboard but with more flex than the PP bodyboard for more control. It is also recommended for colder waters.
